Bill is an associate attorney at Tetzlaff, Cervantez & Associates. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. Bill practices in a wide variety of cases, including family law, estate planning, business planning, personal injury, landlord-tenant disputes, and real estate transactions. He is dedicated to assisting individuals and families navigate their way through the complexities and difficult issues associated with the legal system, and is a knowledgeable, compassionate, and aggressive advocate who understands his clients’ goals and concerns.
Bill grew up in the historic town of Galena, Illinois, home to former U.S. President, Ulysses S. Grant. Upon graduating from high school, Bill attended the University of Dubuque where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Flight Operations. He was also a member of the University of Dubuque Spartan Baseball Team.
After his undergraduate studies, Bill attended Western Illinois University, earning a Master’s Degree in Sport Management. While attending WIU, Bill served as an Assistant Coach and as the Director of Baseball Operations for the Fighting Leathernecks Baseball team.
Bill earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law. During his legal studies, Bill worked as a law clerk at Reynolds and Kenline in Dubuque, Iowa and also participated in a Prisoner Civil Rights Externship Program. In addition, Bill served as President of the SIU Sports Law Society.
When not practicing law, Bill enjoys the outdoors, giving private baseball instruction, watching Chicago Cubs baseball, and spending time with family and friends.
